When the weather turns colder and the smell of freshly cut grass becomes a distant memory; and the nights begin drawing in, a jovial atmosphere remains as the promise of Carnival and Christmas festivities are very much on their way.
Last year was a fantastic year with another record collection which followed on from 2016 was a very special year for the Highbridge & Burnham-on-Sea Carnival as we celebrated 70 years of this wonderful celebration. 2018 looks to be no different, with yet another fantastic show planned.
Whether it's your first year or if you watch carnival every year we'd love you to join us on Monday 5th November 2018 for what promises to be another spectacular event.

As Chief marshal I look after the general health and safety of the event and also look after the route, this does unfortunately mean that I have the unenviable job of organising which roads will be shut on carnival weekend.
This year we are not planning any major changes to the route, however there are as normal some tweaks to our road closures and parking restrictions. Please take a look at this site in advance of the events to see how these closures may affect you.
