Cars, Coaches and Disabled Parking Available
Car Parks are located at:
- Pier Street* (300+ Spaces)
- Adjacent to B&M Superstore. Official car park - £5 Including Programme.
- Oxford Street* (100+ Spaces)
- Opposite Lidl Supermarket. Official car park - £5 Including Programme.
- Lynton Road/Marine Drive* (30+ Spaces)
- This car park will be restricted during the lead up to carnival for disabled parking. Donation Required.
- Berrow Road* (70+ Spaces)
- Beside Swimming Pool - £5 Including Programme.
- South Esplanade (100+ Spaces)
- On Street Car Parking.
Car Parks marked with * are not accessible during the procession, we recommend parking early, although we open the roads as early as possible there may be some delay in leaving the car parks.
Coach Parking is available in the Pier Street Car Park.
Additional Coach parking can be made available provided we know prior to the event, if you are bringing more than one coach please get in touch and we'll see how we can help.
For the benefit of our disabled spectators and those who cannot stand for long periods of time we have made a limited number of disabled parking spaces available along the route. These Spaces are have been chosen to allow you to watch the Carnival in the comfort of your own vehicle. This area is set a side for Disabled People and those who are unable stand for long lengths of time, not necessarily just blue badge holders
The designated area is situated towards the end of the route in Marine Drive (between the High Street and Burnham Holiday Village). Only Permit holders will be allowed to park in that area as space is limited.
Permits are available for a donation (Minimum £15 per vehicle please).

Permits will not be sent out before Oct 1st but you can apply for one from Sep 1st by sending your donation and a Stamped addressed envelope to:-

Please state clearly that you require a DISABLED PARKING PERMIT as we deal with a lot of other enquiries as well. It also helps if you could state what type of vehicle you are coming in Eg. Car, Campervan Minibus etc.

Due to the size of the carnival carts, and also due to the size of the expected crowds it is necessary to implement parking restrictions on roads throughout Burnham and Highbridge.These parking restrictions are enforceable between 6:30am until 1am the day after carnival. These restrictions extend to surrounding roads for use by the emergency services and for recovery purposes.
